Click the link below to start a free 90-day trial membership with USA Fencing, our sport's national organization. If you decide to continue fencing with Evansville Fencing Academy, you will need to upgrade your USA Fencing membership to at least the Access Level after the 90-day trial period.

Our Mission:

Evansville Fencing Academy shall be an open and welcoming fencing club dedicated to teaching the evolving sport, while encouraging the traditional values of honor, etiquette, and sportsmanship. Coaches shall be focused on the students’ development from beginner through the competitive stages by monitoring student progress, developing strategies for student success, attending student competitions when possible, and participating in continuing education for coaches.

We are here to create fencers. At EFA, we know the study of fencing is more than just a sport or another after-school activity. Olympic fencing builds confidence, athleticism, and the ability to make good decisions under pressure.

Fencing is ultimately about character. Competitive fencing brings our students face to face with an important truth: one can never control everything. Not the opponent, not the circumstances, not the referee, nor the coach. Fencers learn they can only control themselves. Fencing teaches students to take responsibility for their own actions.

For success, coaches must set the example.

Students observe our every action. As the coach, we shall do what we demand from our students: show up and start on time, demonstrate hard work, use respectful language, show compassion, and provide our fencers with a physically and psychologically safe environment.
